Electro-Acupuncture

Electroacupuncture is a similar practice to acupuncture, and is a widely practiced type of Chinese medicine (TCM). Acupuncture is performed with the use of thin needles to create specific pressure points linked to unwanted symptoms.

In conventional acupuncture, one needle is used at each trigger point. Electroacupuncture is a modified form that uses two needles for its treatments

During this treatment a mild electric current passes between these needles. This current generally applies more stimulation to acupoints than needle twirling or other hand manipulation techniques an acupuncturist might use.
